Markus Pettersson specializes in reader relations and social media at Göteborgs-Posten (GP), Sweden’s second largest morning paper and part of the Stampen Group. 

He runs the social media programme since February 2011 and is a change agent for transparency and customer centricity in the organization. Markus advises the newsroom and marketing/sales departments in how to best engage readers both for co-creation and increased digital reach.

During the past year, he has set GP:s social media strategy, trained the staff and created acclaimed campaigns with great penetration in all generations. 

His previous experience includes consulting in traditional and digital PR, and management roles in the Swedish Basketball League.
