Aldo van Weezel is a newspaper business consultant and the representative of German software company ppi Media in Latin America.

As a consultant, he is currently advising the Chilean National Press Association regarding the development of a digital strategy for the magazine industry. He spent the last 12 years researching and teaching on media management and economics, focusing on corporate entrepreneurship in the newspaper industry.
Aldo holds a PhD in business administration and a master in media management. The earlier part of his career was spent as an IT consultant.

He is based in Santiago, Chile.
