Shantanu joined HT Media in 2007 after working for more than 15 years with Reckitt Benckiser (RB), of which more than half were spent at the Global Headquarters in the UK, and in Europe. At Reckitt, Shantanu worked across Sales, Marketing, and Business Planning roles across South Asia before moving as Global Brand Marketing Manager, Dettol and Lysol, where he was responsible for Global Brand Strategy, Innovation, Consumer Insights, and entry into new segments and new markets. In his last assignment he was Marketing Director of the overall Business in Portugal. A Post Graduate in Management from IIM-Calcutta and an Engineering Graduate from IIT–Kharagpur, Shantanu did an Advanced Management Program at the Said School of Business at Oxford University in 2007.
